Taking a road trip with my parents was more than just a trip,
it was time to slow down and really be with them.
The long drives gave us space to talk,
to laugh, and sometimes to sit in comfortable silence.
I saw sides of them I hadn’t noticed before,
their stories, their worries, their dreams.
It wasn’t always perfect,
there were moments of tension and tiredness,
but those moments made the good ones feel even more real.
That trip reminded me how important family is,
how much we need each other,
and how those simple moments
can become the memories I hold closest.
Blessed.
