Bet On Myself

Reflection

I bet on myself,
even when the doubts were loud,
and the world seemed to say otherwise.

There were moments when fear tried to stop me,
when I wasn’t sure if I had what it takes,
when failure felt like the only option.

But deep down, I knew that if I didn’t trust myself,
no one else would.

Betting on myself wasn’t about being reckless.
It was about believing in my own worth,
even when the path was unclear.

It meant taking risks without guarantees,
putting in the work even when the outcome was unknown,
and facing my insecurities head-on.

Sometimes I stumbled,
sometimes I wanted to give up,
but I kept going because I knew
the only way to grow was to take that chance.

Betting on myself taught me strength,
not the kind that comes from never falling,
but the kind that comes from rising every time I fall.

It’s not always easy,
and sometimes it feels lonely,
but it’s the bravest choice I’ve ever made.

Because in the end,
the biggest win is knowing I believed in me,
when no one else did,
or even when I didn’t believe it myself.

Blessed.
